Who are we

Great wine, good food and a little Danish hygge in the heart of Saigon.

MAD Wine Bar & Eatery was created by Camilla, Mary and Casper, bringing together our love for wine, food and the good things in life.

Located in the heart of Thảo Điền, Ho Chi Minh City, MAD is our idea of a proper wine bar. A place to relax, enjoy yourself and feel at home, whether you're stopping by for a quick glass or staying for the whole evening.

We love everything about wine.

From the nerdy details to the happiness a good bottle brings when shared with friends. With more than 700 wines from around the world and over 30 by the glass, there's always something new to discover.

Casper and Mary both hold WSET Level 3 and are Certified Sommeliers through the Court of Master Sommeliers. We take our wine seriously, but ourselves a little less so. Good wine should be for everyone, not just the experts.

Food is just as important to us. Our menu is inspired by European classics, made with great ingredients and a love for honest, uncomplicated cooking.

Our Danish Chef Camilla Bailey, who finished third on Top Chef Vietnam 2026, also brings her creativity to MAD through special dining experiences and intimate chef's dinners at The Counter.

Over the years, we've been lucky enough to receive recognition from Star Wine List and Wine Spectator, including the Best of Award of Excellence in 2025. Something we're very proud of, but what matters most is seeing people enjoy themselves at MAD.

Our philosophy is simple. Great wine, good food, good company and a little Danish hygge.
